If you’ve been an Android user long enough, you’d have likely purchased some apps and games from the Play Store. And, if this count is quite high, you may have lost track of your purchase history over time and perhaps are looking for an easy way to view all your purchased apps and games. Although Google makes it really easy to reinstall previously-installed apps and games on your device and find out which apps and games are missing from your current device, finding a purchased app/game—especially if you don’t remember its name—on this list can be challenging. Let’s check out some of the ways to view purchased history on Google Play Store and find your purchased apps and games.
Method 1: View Google Play Purchase History from the Play Store App
One of the easiest ways to view your app and game purchased history is to use the Google Play Store app, which comes pre-installed on all Android smartphones. Follow these steps to find your purchased apps and games from the Play Store app: Here, you’ll see the entire purchase history linked to your account. Some of these apps/games will display zero cost next to them. These apps/games are those you’ve tried on one of your Android devices once but deleted/stopped using before they started charging you for their subscription.
Method 2: View Purchase History from the Google Play Store Website
Another way to view all your purchased apps and games is through the Google Play Store website. One of the advantages of using this method is that you filter your order history by categories, such as apps, books, and movies. Here’s how to view your purchase history through the Play Store website: If you want to filter out the list, hit the dropdown button on the right and select an item from the dropdown list. Play Store will then filter out the order history and show you only the purchased items that fit in your chosen category.
Method 3: View Purchase History from Google Pay
Finally, you can also view your purchase history from Google Pay. Compared to other methods, with this one, you only see the items you’ve actually purchased, i.e., you don’t see zero-cost purchases on the list. Here are the steps to view your purchased apps and games from Google Pay: On the Activity page, you’ll see your entire purchase history made under your Google account. Click on an item to bring up its transaction details, such as the date of purchase, transaction ID, and payment method. Additionally, if you need a tax invoice for the transaction, you can download one by clicking the Download tax invoice button.
Report a Problem With a Purchase
If there’s a problem with any purchased item, like you made a purchase accidentally, someone you share your account with purchased an item without your consent, or were charged but didn’t receive the item, among others, you can report the same. Follow these steps to do this:
Never Lose Track of Your Play Store Purchases Again
With any of these three methods described in this guide, you can easily view the Google Play Store purchase history associated with your Google account, dating all the way back to your initial purchase. Not only can you keep track of your spending this way, but you can also look for deductions or unauthorized purchases, which is especially useful if you share your Google Play Store account with someone.
