The HP Sprocket Plus looks and functions largely like its predecessors. You connect it with a companion app and beam pictures wirelessly for it to print on a pocket-sized sheet. On the Sprocket Plus, however, the sheet is now 30% larger with a dimension of 2.3-inch x 3.4-inch. The rest of its upgrades lie in the software department. For starters, the app can now print photos directly from social media. It also comes with a new Augmented Reality feature called Embedded Experience that lets you overlay the prints with a watermark which you can scan from the app to reveal additional content. Commenting further on the launch, Sumeer Chandra, MD, HP Inc. India, said, “Printed photos are a moment of time captured and displayed in space and we are seeing a revival as the young millennials, the digital natives want to print photos of moments they love and cherish. Continuing with our strong focus and commitment for catering to the millennials, we are introducing HP Sprocket Plus that offers a unique experience of remembering, reliving and saving their memories.”
