The all-new Galaxy A8s is powered by a 10nm Snapdragon 710 chipset clocked in at 1.7 GHz with 128 GB internal storage (expandable using microSD card), 6 GB or 8 GB RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In terms of design, the device sports a 6.39-inch Infinity-O display with a Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and a 6.7mm cutout on the top-left of the screen that houses a selfie camera. The eye-catching thing about the device is its cameras. The Galaxy A8s comes with a 24-megapixel (f/2.0) camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the rear, which includes a main sensor with 24-megapixel (f/1.7), a 10-megapixel telephoto (f/2.4) sensor, and a 5-megapixel sensor for capturing depth information. The device has a fingerprint scanner on the rear to authenticate users, and a 3400mAh battery with support for fast-charging to power it all.

The pricing for the Galaxy A8s has not been released yet. However, pre-bookings start in China from December 21. The phone is expected to launch in India and other countries later this month, possibly with Exynos chipset instead of Snapdragon.
