The leak brings us a bunch of clear renders which, in addition to confirming recent rumors, reveals a host of fresh details. For starters, the Galaxy S10 Plus will indeed feature Samsung’s new Infinity-O display which essentially means the front sensors like the two selfie cameras will be tucked away in a tiny little notch at the top-right corner. That, of course, leaves room for a lot of screen space and possibly one of the highest screen-to-body ratios. However, it still has a narrow bezel at the bottom as well as the top which looks noticeably thicker than that of the iPhone XS. Speaking of the screen, it’s expected to be a 6.4-inch OLED panel with a Quad HD resolution. On the rear, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus will feature three cameras laid out in a horizontal fashion, similar to what you will find on the Galaxy Note 9. The report mentions that all of the three cameras will serve a different purpose and carry varying focal lengths such as telephoto, ultra-wide. You will also notice that there’s no fingerprint reader on the rear confirming the presence of an in-display sensor.
Unfortunately, Samsung will continue to bundle the dedicated, unconfigurable hardware key for summoning its own Bixby voice assistant. On the plus (pun totally intended) side, though, the company is still not letting go the good-ol’ 3.5mm headphone jack which, on the Galaxy S10 Plus, sits beside the USB Type-C port. While the rest of the hardware specifications are yet to be verified, the report says the Galaxy S10 Plus will be likely powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8150 chipset in the United States and the company’s own Exynos 9820 elsewhere. It could have up to 12GB of RAM, 1TB of onboard storage with MicroSD expansion, and Android Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.
