Xiaomi claims a battery life of up to 9 hours on this. The Anti-slip adjustable hook design should provide a comfortable and secure fit as per Xiaomi. As one expects the Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic will come with in-line smart remote and microphone, and has a 3-button design to control music, answer/reject calls and three-way calling as well. It works with Google Assistant as well. It is based on Bluetooth 4.1 and comes with an enhanced bass response which is something users in this segment usually look for as per Xiaomi. At just 13.6g the Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic has to be one of the lightest Bluetooth earphones in this segment. It will be accompanied by soft silicone earbuds in five different sizes.
The Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic has a range of up to 10m which is standard for wireless earphones in this price range. Xiaomi says the 120mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery on the earphones would need 2 hours to charge back which is definitely on the higher side. For now, the Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic will be sold exclusively on Mi.com for Rs 1,499, with pre-orders starting today. It comes in two colors – White and Black.
